Due to our continued growth, Aalberts Surface Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the Greenville, SC, Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA areas. This is a remote role with regular travel required.

Key Job duties:

  • Meet or exceed established sales goals.
  • Generate new sales opportunities with target customers and obtain requests for quotation. Forward RFQ’s to Cost Estimator promptly and serve as a liaison to clarify any issues.
  • Build relationships with C-Suite, plant, engineering, metallurgical, and purchasing personnel at key accounts to perpetuate confidence and trust in the company.
  • Follow up on quotations for territory to secure opportunities and coordinate negotiations with the appropriate internal team members.
  • Serve as a liaison between the customer and the company during product launch to clarify technical or logistical issues between the customer and plant quality or production teams.
  • up to date on industry trends and issues.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

We are looking for a self-starter who can thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with the ability to work independently, set priorities, and organize work effectively. Candidates must demonstrate a hunter’s mentality with high-energy, be motivated, and persistent. This individual needs to be comfortable prospecting, qualifying, presenting and closing opportunities in a highly competitive market.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or similar discipline
  • At least 5 years of technical sales experience
  • Flexibility to travel for extended periods of time and visit customer locations
